        starting with Six Digit numbers.

        The Hindu - Arabic number system
        is followed in England, America
        and other western countries
        (English system) except for the
        names of the place values
        from sixth place and above.

        Let us see the differences in
        names of the place values in

        Numbers above this are
        not in common use.

        In English system,
        1000 Billions is
        called Trillion,
        the equivalent of which
        in Hindu - Arabic System
        is one lakh crores.

        In both these systems,
        we put a comma ater three
        digits from extreme right.
        After that, a comma is put
        after every two digits
        (from right) in Hindu - Arabic
        System and after every three
        digits (from right) in
        English system.
